The team has undergone a major transition following the departure of key players, including former captain Dawins Achilla, Dennis Wandera, Cyrus Kayongo, Gerald Mombwe and Laston Ngobi. However, the team has brought in promising young talents to rebuild and remain competitive in this year’s competition.

Mr. Ssekitto Daniel, the Colour Master Orange who still serve as the Head coach of the team is optimistic despite the squad changes.

“Despite losing five (5) of our key players, we are in the process of rebuilding a strong team, we have recruited new promising young talents to strengthen the squad,” said Daniel.

One of the coaching staff Ms. Imujira Sarah added “Our primary goal is always to compete for the trophy. If we win, we celebrate; if not, we strive to finish as high as possible. Winning is never guaranteed, but fueled by fresh energy, guided by strong leadership, and driven by renewed determination, we are committed to competing up to the highest level.”

Preseason Friendlies and Last-Minute Preparations

To fine-tune it’s squad ahead of the competition, Colour Orange has played a series of friendly matches. These matchups have provided an opportunity for the new players to integrate into the team while helping the coaching staff assess key areas for improvement.
